ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Lewis Carroll’s real name is Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, born in 1832 in Cheshire, England. From a young age, he was able to express his precocious intelligence in many fields and artistic energy. Later, he was not only a writer but also a mathematician, a theologian, and albino logician.
Dodgson composed from a young age with a number of poems, short stories, and humorous stories. In 1862, he began to build the plot of Alice in Wonderland and the book was published in 1865 under the famous pen name Lewis Carroll. This was his most successful work, after which he wrote the sequel Alice in Wonderland (1871); Monster Hunt (poetry collection, 1876) and many other fantasy stories. To this day, Alice in Wonderland and Alice in Wonderland remain classics of children’s literature, with countless film, television, comic, animation and script versions.
Lewis Caroll died in 1898 in Guildford, England.
